THE EFFECT OF USING ENGLISH AUTHENTIC READING MATERIALSON THE EIGHTH GRADE STUDENTS’ READING COMPREHENSION ACHIEVEMENT AT SMP SWASTA MMA UISU MEDAN

Reading is one of many ways to get information, where people can find it from television and internet. As reading dominates all activities in the English subject, language components,namely pronunciation, grammar vocabulary should also be learnt support skills. Based on teacher interview result that authentic materials have never been used by teachers, comprehension eighth grade students junior high school SMP Swasta Mma Uisu Medan so was necessary conduct a research this school. The design quasi experimental.
